Success might go to their head

The mood surrounding German equities has improved, according to the recent Börse Frankfurt survey of fund managers. However, our Bull/Bear-Index shows that the market optimism has only partly returned to the year-high recorded 14 days ago. While some are already looking back on a string of successes this year, it implies that they mustn’t ignore the risk that trusting their own abilities increases disproportionately with every success.
